How to set-up your Kanban tool

Kanban workflow tool

We make it easy to create a Kanban Board online, click menu option Settings, give your task planning Board a name and add columns to represent the order of the workflow, e.g.

The WebTCards Kanban tools places no limit to the number of task planning boards or kanbanflows. Workflow management is totally flexible, it can represent time periods as in the above example; Process stages, Resource allocation or any other step in your business processes.

Kanban Light System

You can apply the Kanban control method based on the traffic light principle to set capacity indicators on each of the column headings. Click on the Set Capacity Indictors link:

Kanban TCard tool

Click menu option Settings, and then Customise Tasks on the Kanban Tools sub-menu. List the information that will be recorded on the online T Cards, so that your Kanban system can automatically validate the information; select the Data Type and the Mandatory items of information. In the Header column choose which lines of your TCards should be displayed on your Kanban Board

Kanban Card Colours

You can set the TCards to change colour automatically, e.g. High Priority TCards are red, select Data Type List, click the Edit button, type the names of the values you want in your list and select a colour for each.

Kanban flags

You can set the TCards to display flags automatically, e.g. in-progress display a blue flag and complete green. Select Data Type List, click the Edit button, type the names of the values you want in your list and select a flag for each.

Kanban Card

A Kanban Task Card can be moved between Boards, automatically sorted, imported and exported.

Kanban tools multi-user

Enable your colleagues to view the status and flow of work, assign them roles such as Edit No Delete or read-only. Click menu option Team Settings
